I took a walk around Golden Gai in Shinjuku one rainy afternoon. By night, these six alleyways come alive with over 200 shanty-style bars. Most can only fit about five people max.
Some big electronica events over the next few months: Clark, Squarepusher, Flying Lotus all involved.
