There’s a headline you won’t read every day. Certainly won’t find it in the revised version of Lonely Planet’s Borneo guidebook anyway. One thing you can be sure of, however, is that when American hardcore band Agnostic Front formed in New York in 1980 they had only one aim: that one day, they would have a baseball cap for sale in a discounted textile mall in Brunei Darussalam. One of the reasons I love this part of the world is because it is so completely oddball. So, if you are running low on knock-off hardcore band merch; racist stocking-fillers; or terrifying giant mannequins – make sure you pay Borneo a visit. Wee video below.
